Job summary

Quest Financial in Atlanta is seeking an Accounts Payable Supervisor – Construction to lead the Construction AP function and oversee high-volume vendor and subcontractor pay applications. This role requires ensuring accuracy, proper coding, and timely payments while collaborating with project teams and finance. The position is office-based with Fridays remote.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field is required.
• 6+ years of progressive Accounts Payable experience required.
• 2+ years of AP supervisory/leadership experience required.
• Construction or project-based industry experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day Construction AP process and provide direction to the AP team.
• Oversee high-volume processing of vendor invoices, subcontractor pay apps, and workflows.
• Review invoices for completeness, accuracy, coding, and documentation before payment.
• Validate invoices against contracts, POs, change orders, and project records.
• Administer construction payment requirements, including retainage and pay-when-paid terms.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Controls, Accounting, Treasury, and vendors to resolve issues.
• Review AP aging and drive timely cleanup of discrepancies.
• Coordinate month-end/year-end close for Construction AP activities.
• Support vendor onboarding and master data maintenance.
• Develop and maintain Construction AP policies, SOPs, and controls.
• Prepare AP reporting and metrics on aging, workflow, and approvals.
