Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of construction accounting experience; 2+ years preferred.
• Hands-on, full-cycle AP with real volume.
• Experience with job costing in construction.
• Strong Excel skills and solid accounting judgment.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Own the full-cycle AP from invoice receipt to payment.
• Manage vendor and subcontractor docs (W-9s, COIs, lien waivers).
• Apply accurate job costing to invoices and payables.
• Handle invoice follow-up, discrepancies, and resolution.
• Perform AP and vendor account reconciliations.
• Communicate professionally with vendors, subcontractors, PMs, and staff.
• Support subcontractor compliance tracking and high-volume processing.
• Assist month-end close and general ledger maintenance.
• Assist construction billing, retainage, and pay apps.
• Contribute to project accounting and broader staff duties.
• Grow into trusted right-hand within the accounting team.
