ZipApply is seeking a Construction Accounting / Accounts Payable Specialist for a full-time, in-office role in Suwanee, GA. You’ll lead construction accounts payable and lay the groundwork for broader construction accounting responsibilities within a collaborative team.

The ideal candidate has 2–5+ years of construction accounting experience, proficiency with COIs, lien waivers, job costing, and Procore or QuickBooks Enterprise. Growth into accounting leadership is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• 2–5+ years of accounting experience, construction focus preferred.
• Experience with construction accounting concepts (COIs, lien waivers, job costing).
• Familiarity with Procore and QuickBooks Enterprise is advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Process and manage construction accounts payable processes.
• Review and maintain vendor compliance documentation (COIs, lien waivers).
• Perform accurate job cost coding for construction projects.
• Ensure compliance with paid-when-paid requirements.
• Support month-end close and expand responsibilities over time.
• Assist with Procore implementation and optimization.
