Qualifications

• Foundational understanding of accounting, finance, or related concepts acquired through education or internship.
• Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail when reviewing invoices and records.
• Ability to follow documented procedures and complete recurring work accurately.
• Ability to organize work around payment deadlines and communicate status or risks.
• Experience handling supplier, employee, banking, tax, and payment information discreetly.
• Working proficiency with Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, enter, and route supplier invoices and approved transactions per procedures.
• Review invoices for completeness, approvals, and data accuracy; identify discrepancies.
• Prepare payment-support documentation and validate for payment runs and reconciliations.
• Follow controls including segregation of duties, OFAC, and confidential record retention.
• Review expense reports and reimbursements; manage corporate-card receipts and records.
• Assist with reconciliations, aging research, and audit requests as needed.
• Respond to supplier inquiries and develop AP knowledge using approved tools.
