Job summary

Relias LLC in Morrisville, NC is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our hybrid team. You will process supplier invoices, code expenses, manage payments, and support period-end activities within established review and approval requirements.

The role requires accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to resolve routine discrepancies promptly in a collaborative environment. The ideal candidate has at least two years of AP experience, familiarity with ERP and procure-to-pay systems,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
• 2+ years of accounts payable or related accounting experience
• Knowledge of full-cycle AP, invoice processing, and payment methods
• Ability to use approved AI and AI-enabled tools to improve productivity while protecting confidential information

Responsibilities

• Process and code supplier invoices; validate approvals and due dates
• Research and resolve routine invoice workflow and issues
• Prepare and verify payments; complete controls (OFAC, ACH, etc)
• Review expense reports and reimbursements; handle routine policy exceptions
• Perform period-end reconciliations; support 1099 and unclaimed property activities
• Maintain process documentation and support continuous improvement initiatives
