Ledgent-Finance- is hiring an Accounts Payable Specialist in Howard County, Maryland for a hybrid role. You will manage the full-cycle AP, code and process invoices, and collaborate with purchasing and operations to ensure accurate transaction processing.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of AP experience, ERP system proficiency, and strong Excel skills. Manufacturing background is a plus, and you will support month-end close, vendor communications, and audits in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years of full-cycle accounts payable experience.
• ERP system experience required.
• Experience processing high-volume invoices in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of AP processes, invoice matching, and payment processing.
• Experience reconciling vendor statements and resolving discrepancies.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.

Aufgaben

• Manage the full-cycle accounts payable process from invoice receipt through payment processing.
• Review, code, and enter vendor invoices accurately and timely.
• Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documentation.
• Process weekly ACH, wire, and check payments.
• Maintain vendor records and resolve invoice discrepancies.
• Communicate with vendors regarding payment status and account inquiries.
• Reconcile vendor statements and research outstanding items.
• Assist with month-end close activities, including AP accruals and account reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and approval workflows.
• Support annual audit requests and provide AP-related documentation.
• Monitor accounts payable aging and identify process improvement opportunities.
• Partner with purchasing, operations, and accounting teams to ensure accurate transaction processing.
• Assist with special projects and reporting as needed.
