Job summary

Atlantic Group in Montgomery County, PA is seeking an Accounts Payable Manager to lead a high-volume AP operation and a team of professionals. You will oversee payments, accruals, and month-end close while driving process improvements.

The role requires 8+ years in AP with 2–3 years in supervision, expertise in ERP systems such as Great Plains, and strong leadership and analytical skills. Hybrid schedule with potential for bonus opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate degree preferred, equivalent experience considered.
• 8+ years of accounts payable or related accounting experience, with 2–3 years in supervision.
• Strong understanding of AP operations, GL, vendor management, and month-end close.
• Proficiency with Excel and accounting ERP systems; prior reporting experience.
• Leadership and problem-solving skills with ability to manage high-volume workflows.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounts payable operations including high-volume invoice processing and approvals.
• Lead, train, and support AP staff for accuracy and timely task completion.
• Manage vendor relationships, resolve payment discrepancies, handle inquiries.
• Prepare accruals, journal entries, and reconciliations for month-end close.
• Oversee corporate card activity, cash disbursements, and domestic/international payments.
• Improve AP procedures and controls while supporting audits.
