Vaco partners with a private San Francisco firm to hire an Associate, Client Accounting (Accounts Payable). The role is hybrid: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote, with base compensation 115,000–130,000 USD plus bonus and strong benefits.

You will manage AP for multiple entities, code invoices, prepare payments, and help with reconciliations and reporting. Ideal for detail-oriented professionals seeking growth.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of AP experience in a multi-entity or high-volume environment.
• Strong knowledge of invoice coding, GL allocations, and AP procedures.
• Ability to research discrepancies and manage priorities independently.
• Excellent communication and detail-oriented approach.
• Proficient with Excel and Pivot Tables; familiarity with VLOOKUPs.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable activities, including invoice review and payment processing.
• Code invoices to GL accounts and entities with accuracy.
• Handle expense allocations across multiple entities and projects.
• Prepare payment batches and assist with wire transfers.
• Resolve invoice discrepancies and payment issues independently.
• Maintain AP records and supporting documentation.
• Assist with reconciliations, reporting, and GL activity.
• Produce Excel payment summaries for management review.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure timely processing.
• Identify opportunities to improve AP workflows and controls.
