Job summary

Alchemy is seeking an Accounts Payable Accountant to join the Finance team. You will own daily AP tasks, code invoices, process payments, and support vendors across Zip, NetSuite, and Ramp.

This hybrid role spans our New York and San Francisco offices, with benefits for in-office meals and commuting. You will partner with Accounting and Procurement, ensuring accurate documentation, timely approvals, and strong process improvements.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years in accounts payable or related accounting operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage AP inbox, process invoices, serve as primary vendor contact.
• Code and classify vendor invoices in Zip and NetSuite with approvals and PO matching.
• Prepare and monitor payment batches, follow up on approvals and missing info.
• Maintain vendor records, tax forms, banking details, and onboarding data.
• Investigate discrepancies, duplicates, and payment issues; escalate when needed.
• Review employee expenses and corporate card transactions in Ramp for accuracy.
