Job summary

Rue Gilt Groupe is seeking an Accounts Payable Manager in Boston with a hybrid schedule (2 days in the office). You will lead AP operations in a fast‑paced e‑commerce environment, ensuring timely invoice processing, accurate payments, and strong internal controls.

You will develop the team, drive process improvements, and partner with merchandising, treasury, IT, and finance to optimize cash flow and reporting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in accounts payable with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
• Experience managing vendor onboarding, master data, and tax compliance (W-9, 1099)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily invoice processing and payment runs
• Manage vendor onboarding and vendor master maintenance
• Ensure timely month-end close activities and reporting
• Supervise and mentor the AP team and manage workload
• Collaborate with treasury on cash flow forecasting
