Job summary

Elliot Health System's Access and Command Center connects patients to care with scheduling, imaging, and prior authorizations in a hybrid work setting. We seek a Customer Service Coordinator who will help patients and referring providers access timely, high-quality service.

You will register and schedule new patient appointments, capture demographics in Epic, triage calls, and support interdepartmental workflows while maintaining professionalism in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2 years health care or contact center experience.
• Prior customer service experience.
• Epic experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and coordinate scheduling for new patient appointments.
• Document patient demographics, medical, financial, and referral information into Epic per policy.
• Triage incoming calls and handle professionally.
• Obtain all patient information required by providers prior to appointments.
• Keep supervisor informed of interdepartmental issues.
