• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three years of medical office experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Epic EMR; detail oriented with strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Process referrals for new and existing patients and schedule appointments.
• Assist patients and referring offices with new patient processes via phone, email, or fax.
• Screen inquiries and direct to appropriate contact.
• Verify demographics, insurance, and history; follow department guidelines.
• Request prior records and ensure receipt before appointments.
• Track referrals through completion and follow up as needed.
• Maintain logs and records to track referral production.
