Nemours seeks a Full-Time Access Center Specialist II to join our Wilmington, Delaware team in a hybrid role focused on connection, accuracy, and compassionate service. You will act as a trusted guide for patients, families, providers, and internal teams, scheduling specialty appointments, verifying insurance, and explaining financial responsibilities.

In this role you’ll ensure smooth care journeys, train across specialty areas when needed, and maintain clear communications to promote timely

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• More than one year of customer service, medical office, or call center experience preferred.
• Healthcare front desk functions (registration, scheduling, and insurance verification) a plus.
• NAHAM/CHAA certification preferred.

Responsabilités

• Schedule patient appointments and coordinate communications.
• Verify insurance, registration, and billing details in the EMR.
• Explain financial responsibilities and collect payments when appropriate.
• Document notes and maintain accurate scheduling per provider protocols.
• Provide professional, confidential service to patients and staff.
