Job summary

Excelsior is seeking a Faculty and Student Support (FSS) Associate in Albany, NY. The role provides operational, communications, and data coordination support to strengthen faculty and student success, reporting to the Senior FSS Coordinator.

You will coordinate faculty communications, track credentials, assist with curriculum committees, and manage honor societies and student awards, while supporting academic integrity processes and residency logistics.

Qualifications

An associate’s degree in a related field is required.
Minimum of 1 year of related experience in an educational setting.
Experience with data collection and analysis to support college initiatives.
Proficient with standard office software and templates.

Responsibilities

Coordinate faculty communications and track trainings.
Monitor credential records and training completion.
Assist with curriculum committee logistics and academic awards.
Manage meetings, events, and operational projects for accuracy and compliance.
Support department chairs with analyses of course evaluations and data reporting.
Triage emails and manage team workflow via shared inboxes.
Maintain records and provide logistical support for residencies and symposia.
