Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking an experienced ABL Portfolio Manager to partner with Relationship Managers and Business Development Officers to manage a portfolio of ABL credit relationships.

You will monitor credit risk, ensure compliance, and support underwriting and transaction execution. You will deepen customer relationships through regular meetings, identify cross-sell opportunities, mentor junior team members, and coordinate with internal partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Eight or more years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned portfolio of ABL credits, including direct/agented facilities and purchased participations.
• Monitor and manage credit risk across all assigned customer relationships.
• Ensure full adherence to bank policies and regulatory requirements.
• Respond promptly to customer credit requests and underwrite ancillary exposure.
• Assist Underwriting with new business transactions as needed.
• Conduct regular customer meetings to deepen relationships and identify cross-sell opportunities.
• Escalate credit concerns to senior management and coordinate legal documentation.
• Mentor and train junior team members and collaborate with internal partners.
