Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a VDC 4D Coordinator to unify models and schedules for construction planning across projects in the United States. The role blends hands-on production with room to experiment while advancing 4D and 5D workflows.

You will collaborate with an international delivery team, improve data integration, and support planning discussions with clear simulations and visuals. A degree in CM/Engineering/Arch or equivalent experience is valued.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of BIM/VDC experience with 4D modeling or sequencing.
• Proficiency in 4D platforms (SYNCHRO or Fuzor) and Revit or Navisworks.
• Understanding of schedules, sequencing, and model element connections.
• Experience organizing model information using parameters/coding.
• Ability to communicate clearly across disciplines and time zones.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain 4D models linking 3D elements to construction schedules.
• Prepare/structure model data and ensure reliable schedule linking.
• Identify schedule conflicts, constraints, risks, and opportunities.
• Create simulations, visualizations, and presentations for planning discussions.
• Keep models current as designs and priorities change.
• Coordinate with international teams and ensure deliverable quality.
• Improve workflows and test tools for speed and accuracy.
• Help develop 5D workflows connecting quantities, schedules, and costs.
• Share knowledge and help teams use 4D effectively.
