Job summary

Jacobs is hiring a VDC 4D Coordinator to unify models and schedules, informing strategy and accelerating re-industrialization plans. The role focuses on 4D modeling across projects, collaborating with an international delivery team, and delivering practical workflows that improve speed and accuracy.

You will work hands-on with SYNCHRO 4D Pro, Revit, and Navisworks, while exploring 5D integrations and automation, in a flexible hybrid work environment that supports collaboration and career growth.

Qualifications

• 2+ years BIM/VDC experience with hands-on 4D modeling.
• Experience using Revit and/or Navisworks for model coordination.
• Understanding of construction schedules, sequencing, and how they link to models.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain 4D models linking 3D elements to construction schedules using SYNCHRO 4D Pro or similar tools.
• Prepare and structure model data (Revit parameters, element coding) for reliable schedule linking.
• Collaborate with project teams to evaluate sequencing, constraints, risks, and opportunities.
• Create clear simulations, visualizations, and presentations to support planning discussions.
• Keep models current as designs and priorities evolve; switch between projects as needed.
• Coordinate with an international delivery team, set priorities, and ensure deliverable quality.
• Improve workflows, troubleshoot data integration, and test automation tools.
• Help develop 5D workflows connecting quantities, schedules, and cost data.
• Share knowledge to help teams use 4D effectively in planning and execution.
