Job summary

The Haywire & The Ranch brand is seeking a dedicated Line Cook in Texas to join a team that serves farm-to-fork, chef-driven cuisine with Texas hospitality. You will handle tickets, prepare dishes to exact standards, and maintain a clean and safe kitchen.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of line cook experience, can read recipes, and can lift up to 50 pounds. E-Verify is used to confirm eligibility for employment.

Qualifications

• Minimum one (1-2) years line cook experience preferred, steak house experience a plus.
• Must be able to read and understand tickets and recipes.
• Stand for long periods of time and lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Maintain a current Food Handler's Certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items with attention to detail and consistency.
• Maintain a clean, safe and sanitary kitchen following regulations.
• Read tickets and recipes to ensure correct execution.

Company's Comin' and that means we need a Line Cook who treats our Guests like family joining us for Sunday dinner. Everybody’s taken care of here and welcomed with open arms. We are a Texas Tried and Texas True restaurant delivering farm to fork, chef-driven cuisine. We provide a locally sourced menu that guests can depend on every time, so cowboy up - it’s time to impress!

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS :

• Minimum one (1-2) years line cook experience preferred, steak house experience a plus
• Must be able to read and understand tickets and recipes
• Stand for long periods of time & be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
• Properly use a knife and other equipment required to execute necessary tasks
• Maintain a current Food Handler's Certification
