Job summary

Haywire is seeking a dedicated Line Cook to join our Texas kitchen team. You will contribute to our farm-to-fork, chef-driven menu and uphold high standards of quality and hospitality for guests as they dine with us on Sundays.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years line cook experience, can read tickets/recipes, and maintain strong knife skills. Must pass sanitation standards and maintain Food Handler's Certification. E-Verify statements apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years Line Cook experience preferred.
• Must be able to read and understand tickets and recipes.
• Stand for long periods and lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Proper knife use and handling of kitchen equipment.
• Maintain a current Food Handler's Certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare menu items according to recipes and standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary kitchen environment.

Experience & Qualifications

• Minimum one (1-2) years line cook experience preferred, steak house experience a plus
• Must be able to read and understand tickets and recipes
• Stand for long periods of time & be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
• Properly use a knife and other equipment required to execute necessary tasks
• Maintain a current Food Handler's Certification
