Job summary

Daikin Applied in Tampa is seeking a Project Coordinator to support HVAC turnkey and contracting projects. You will coordinate project setup, scheduling, procurement, and financial administration while ensuring compliance with company standards.

You will work with Project Managers, field teams, subcontractors, vendors, customers, and internal departments to ensure efficient, accurate project delivery and thorough documentation throughout the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years related work experience preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Strong organization, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders across teams.

Responsibilities

• Project Setup & Job Initialization: create and maintain project records.
• Coordinate permit applications, NOC, and startup requirements.
• Issue subcontractor agreements and purchase orders.
• Schedule progress meetings and document weekly updates.
• Track milestones, inspections, and punch list items.
• Coordinate procurement of HVAC equipment and materials.
• Process project expenses, vendor invoices, and change orders.
• Prepare progress billings, AIA docs, and ensure lien waivers.
• Maintain project documentation and closeout records.
