Job summary

Lennox International seeks a Training Consultant to design and deliver HVAC training for installers, service technicians, and internal staff. You will identify learning needs, develop courses, and maintain training materials across delivery methods.

The role requires strong communication, subject matter expertise, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and WebEx tools; experience in sales relationships is valued. This is a salaried, exempt position with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; two-year college degree or HVAC degree preferred.
• 5+ years training experience plus 5+ years technical experience.
• Advanced knowledge of products and diagnostic techniques.
• Understanding of learning theories and classroom teaching.
• Strong presentation skills with various technologies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Some sales ability and track record of customer relationships.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and WebEx.

Responsibilities

• Identify customer needs and investigate technical inquiries.
• Develop, test and maintain training courses and materials.
• Establish course content and learning objectives.
• Prepare syllabi, lesson plans and student manuals; coordinate training aids.
• Review problem areas and identify training needs.
• Develop criteria to evaluate training effectiveness.
• Update materials to stay timely and relevant.
• Conduct training using all delivery methods.
• Provide direction to entry-level trainers as needed.
