Lennox, a long-established HVAC leader, seeks an Inside Technical Consultant to deliver phone-based technical support for dealers, contractors, and field teams. You will troubleshoot complex HVAC and refrigeration issues, document findings, and contribute to knowledge resources.

The role emphasizes clear communication, teamwork, and ongoing process improvements. The position requires a strong HVAC background, 2+ years in technical consulting, and a history of customer-focused problem-solving.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least 2 years of related technical consulting experience.
• Typically 5+ years of experience in installation and service of HVAC equipment.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC/R installation and service.
• Excellent communication skills to convey technical information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Provide phone-based technical assistance to dealers, contractors, field technicians, and field sales personnel.
• Troubleshoot HVAC equipment issues and guide callers to resolutions.
• Provide technical documentation to contractors, engineers, and field technicians.
• Document call information in the call-tracking system with relevant details.
• Develop knowledge base articles for HVAC equipment issues.
• Support internal teams such as Warranty and Customer Service.
• Identify and suggest process improvements for support effectiveness.
