Job summary

Homans Associates, LLC in Commack, NY seeks a motivated Territory Manager to drive HVAC wholesale sales in the assigned region. You will build strong customer relationships and negotiate pricing to meet market demands.

In this on-site role, you will travel the territory, demonstrate products, and manage quotes, delivery estimates, and contracts. Relocation is not offered; competitive base salary with commissions and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from a two-year college or technical school.
• Minimum of three years HVAC wholesale distribution sales experience.
• Technical knowledge of HVAC equipment, parts and accessories.
• Understanding of warehouse, purchasing, data processing and operations.

Responsibilities

• Compile lists of prospective customers and sales leads.
• Travel territory to call on regular and prospective customers.
• Demonstrate products and emphasize salable features.
• Negotiate pricing to meet market demands while ensuring profit.
• Aim to meet or exceed territory sales budgets and contribute to regional goals.
• Prepare quotes, contracts, and delivery estimates.
• Enter customer data into databases and maintain records.
• Develop relationships with purchasing contacts and assist usage planning.
• Resolve delivery and product issues with customers.
• Attend trade shows and perform other duties as assigned.
