Qualifications

• Associate degree from a two-year college or technical school.
• Minimum of three years HVAC wholesale distribution sales experience.
• Technical knowledge of HVAC equipment, parts, and accessories.
• In-depth knowledge of warehouse, purchasing, data processing, paper flow and operations procedures.
• Ability to negotiate transactions on intra- and inter-company level and mediate customer situations.

Responsibilities

• Compile lists of prospective customers for sales leads and travel through territory to call on customers.
• Display or demonstrate products and negotiate pricing.
• Meet or exceed territory sales budgets and contribute to regional goals.
• Prepare quotes, contracts, and delivery estimates.
• Enter new customer data into the company database and maintain relationships with buyers.
