Job summary

Daikin seeks an HVAC Service Support Specialist to provide technical support to contractors, distributors, engineers, and end users for US domestic product lines. You will deliver pre- and post-sales support via phone and email and assist with equipment selection and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities include responding to the Technical Support Center hotline, coordinating field visits, and using CRM to track cases.

• Ability to troubleshoot in-depth service issues via phone.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical business materials and procedures.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to read and edit technical drawings/prints.

• Ability to read and analyze written information on a computer terminal; close vision and focus adjustment required.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt and courteous responses to calls to the Technical Support Center hotline.
• Provide pre and post-sales technical support via telephone and email.
• Assist Reps, Distributors, and Contractors in troubleshooting and in the application of Daikin equipment, capacity and selection.
• May conduct virtual modeling for troubleshooting and provide resolution.
• Log all calls and incidents into the CRM module to track information by customer and project.
• Provide information such as submittal drawings, wiring diagrams, and capacity tables published in Daikin literature.
• Assist the Manager in distributing requests for field visits and training to the appropriate Daikin Service Representative.
• Follow up on customer inquiries to ensure job completion and satisfaction.
• Provide selection software support and explain control-related questions.
• Perform additional projects to support ongoing business needs.
