Job summary

Daikin Comfort in the United States is seeking an HVAC Service Support Specialist to provide technical support to contractors, distributors, engineers, and end users for Daikin’s US domestic product lines. You will assist with troubleshooting, applications guidance, and pre/post-sales support via phone and email.

In this role you will log calls in the CRM, provide submittal drawings and wiring diagrams, and coordinate field visits with service reps.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with diverse client groups.
• Able to troubleshoot in-depth service issues via phone.
• Able to read, analyze, and interpret technical documents and drawings.
• Strong reporting and documentation skills for business correspondence.
• Proficient with MS Office; ability to present information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to calls to the Technical Support Center hotline.
• Provide pre and post-sales technical support via telephone and email.
• Assist reps, distributors, and contractors in troubleshooting and application of Daikin equipment.
• May conduct virtual modeling for troubleshooting and provide resolution.
• Log all calls and incidents into the CRM with customer, model, and project details.
• Provide submittal drawings, wiring diagrams, capacity tables, and piping recommendations per Daikin literature.
• Assist the Manager in distributing field visit and training requests to Service Representatives.
• Follow up on customer inquiries to ensure job completion and satisfaction.
• Provide selection software support.
• Explain control-related questions to customers and team.
• Perform additional projects to support ongoing business needs.
