Job summary

Daikin Comfort is seeking an HVAC Service Support Specialist to provide technical support to contractors, distributors, engineers, and end users for US domestic product lines. You will assist with troubleshooting and applications via phone and email.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in HVAC service or technical support, strong communication, and proficiency with MS Office. This role focuses on pre- and post-sales support, field requests, and documentation.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in the HVAC field or a technical support role.
• HVAC installation and/or repair experience strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt and courteous responses to calls to the Technical Support Center.
• Provide pre and post-sales technical support via telephone and email.
• Assist reps, distributors, and contractors in troubleshooting and applying Daikin equipment and capacity recommendations.
• May conduct virtual modeling for troubleshooting and provide resolutions.
• Log all calls and incidents into the CRM to track information by customer, model number, and project.
• Provide submittal drawings, wiring diagrams, capacity tables, clearances, piping recommendations as published in Daikin literature.
• Assist the Manager in distributing field visit and training requests to Service Representatives.
• Follow up on inquiries to ensure job completion and satisfaction.
• Provide selection software support and explain control-related questions.
• Perform additional projects/duties to support business needs.
