Job summary

Daikin-Goodman-Manufacturing- in the United States seeks an HVAC Service Support Specialist to provide technical support to contractors, distributors, engineers, and end users for domestic product lines. You'll handle pre and post-sales support via phone and email.

Ideal candidate has 3–5 years HVAC field or technical support experience, installation/repair background, and strong communication. Duties include troubleshooting, documentation, CRM logging, and assisting field reps with equipment

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in the HVAC field or a technical support role.
• HVAC installation and/or repair experience STRONGLY PREFERRED
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with diverse client group
• Ability to troubleshoot in-depth service issues via phone
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical materials and drawings
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
• Ability to effectively document information in CRM and other systems
• Self-starter who can work independently and in a team
• Strong planning, organization, and time-management skills

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt and courteous responses to calls to the Technical Support Center
• Provide pre and post-sales technical support via telephone and email
• Assist Reps, Distributors, and Contractors in troubleshooting and in the application of Daikin equipment, capacity and selection
• May conduct virtual modeling for troubleshooting and provide resolution
• Log all calls and incidents into the CRM module to track information
• Provide information such as submittal drawings, wiring diagrams, capacity tables, and piping recommendations
• Assist the Manager in distributing field visit and training requests
• Follow up on inquiries to ensure job completion and satisfaction
• Provide selection software support
• Perform additional projects/duties to support ongoing business needs
