Job summary

Goodman Manufacturing is seeking a HVAC Service Support Specialist to deliver technical assistance to contractors, distributors, engineers, and end users for US domestic product lines. Responsibilities include pre/post-sales support, troubleshooting by phone and email, and aiding field reps with equipment selection.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in HVAC service or technical support, with a high school diploma or GED and vocational certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot in-depth service issues via phone.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical drawings/prints.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Proficient MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt and courteous responses to Technical Support Center calls.
• Provide pre and post-sales technical support via telephone and email.
• Assist Reps, Distributors, and Contractors in troubleshooting and equipment selection.
• May conduct virtual modeling for troubleshooting and provide resolution.
• Log calls and incidents into CRM to track information by customer and project.
• Support field visits and training coordination as requested by management.
• Follow up on inquiries to ensure job completion and satisfaction.
