Job summary

JobSquad Staffing Solutions is seeking an experienced HVAC Technical Support Specialist to provide technical assistance and troubleshooting for HVAC equipment from our Florida office. This on-site role leverages hands-on field knowledge in a technical support environment.

You will handle calls and chats, diagnose issues, read wiring diagrams, and guide technicians through repairs. Experience with inverter-driven systems, split systems, and heat pumps is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 3+ years of hands-on HVAC technician/service experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills in HVAC.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Experience with inverter-driven HVAC systems, split systems and heat pumps.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical HVAC troubleshooting and support to customers via phone and chat.
• Diagnose equipment issues and guide technicians through troubleshooting/repair procedures.
• Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and technical documentation.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, controls and system-performance issues.
• Provide support for split systems, heat pumps and related HVAC equipment.
• Assist with diagnosing inverter and electrical issues.
• Document technical support cases and customer interactions.
• Use a ticketing system to track and manage inquiries.
• Communicate technical information clearly and professionally.
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve product issues.
