Job summary

Trane Technologies Graduate Training Program (GTP) prepares you for an Associate Account Manager role specializing in Equipment, Services, or Controls. You’ll begin your career in a predetermined office location after completing the 14-week program with a foundation in technical and sales exposure.

You’ll work with engineers, architects, contractors and owners to apply HVAC solutions, develop customer relationships, and drive growth through strategic selling initiatives across North America.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Open to all Engineering areas of emphasis).
• Must be graduated prior to start date of Graduate Training Program.
• Passion for continuous learning in technical fields.
• Have had prior internship experience at Trane Technologies or the capability to commence in-office work 3 months prior to GTP start date.
• Be a U.S. citizen or have the legal right to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Sell HVAC equipment and building management controls to commercial, industrial, and institutional customers.
• Work with engineers, architects, contractors and owners in the design, application and sale of equipment, controls, parts, and services.
• Build and strengthen customer relationships by identifying and understanding customer needs throughout a full sales cycle.
• Create and execute a sales plan and growth strategy for the territory and customers to meet or exceed sales targets.
• Achieve strategic objectives and established sales quotas through securing new design wins and effectively managing the entire sales channel.
