Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking graduates for its 14-week Graduate Training Program (GTP) in the United States. After completion, you’ll become an Associate Account Manager focusing on Equipment, Services, or Controls in a designated office location.

You will sell a complete line of HVAC equipment and building management solutions to commercial customers, collaborating with engineers, architects, and owners. A strong emphasis on relationship building and continuous learning is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Open to all Engineering areas).
• Must be graduated prior to start date of Graduate Training Program.
• A passion for continuous learning in technical fields.
• Prior internship experience at Trane Technologies or capability to commence in-office work 3 months prior to GTP start date.
• U.S. citizen or have the legal right to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Posting is for multiple opportunities; some positions may be remote, hybrid, or onsite across North America.
• Ability to temporarily relocate for 14-week training program.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with no major driving violations in the last 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Sell HVAC equipment and building management controls to commercial, industrial, and institutional customers.
• Work with engineers, architects, contractors and owners/developers in design, application and sale of equipment, controls, parts, and services.
• Build and strengthen customer relationships throughout a full sales cycle.
• Develop sales strategies and analyze market conditions to meet or exceed targets.
• Create and execute a sales plan for the territory and customers.
• Understand and meet strategic objectives and quotas through new design wins and channel management.
