Job summary

Kingfisher Recruiting seeks an experienced HVAC Design Engineer to lead development and optimization of residential and commercial HVAC products. You will work across multiple platforms, performing simulations, experiments, and design reviews to ensure best-in-class performance and reliability.

The role requires a strong foundation in mechanical engineering, 5 years of design experience, and familiarity with NPD processes, DFSS, and DFMA.

Qualifications

5 years design & project experience preferred.
Knowledge of HVAC system design and applications; familiarity with systems component design, integration, and interactions.
Familiarity with the New Product Development (NPD) process, Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) and Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA) principles.

Responsibilities

Design, optimize and qualify HVAC systems across multiple platforms and product families.
Lead product qualification and agency compliance test programs.
Conduct analytical studies employing simulation tools and experimental techniques.
Document product designs with BOMs, drawings, and change notifications.
Interface with manufacturing, sales & marketing, quality and supply chain functions.
Coordinate with vendors, customers, and field personnel, and present findings to technical teams.
