Job summary

MDS Staffing is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to design, develop, and maintain HVAC systems across residential and commercial lines, targeting best-in-class performance and reliability.

You will lead projects through the full development cycle, collaborating with manufacturing, sales, QA, and suppliers, and documenting changes while applying advanced simulation, thermodynamics and DFSS/DFMA principles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering (HVAC focus preferred).
• 5 years design and project experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain HVAC systems meeting performance targets.
• Lead projects through the full product development cycle.
• Interface with manufacturing, sales, QA, and suppliers; document designs and changes.
• Perform simulations and analyses; support testing and qualification programs.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and alignment with DFSS/DFMA principles.
