Job summary

Ridgemont Resources, Inc. seeks an experienced Mechanical Engineer to design, analyze, and optimize HVAC systems for residential and commercial applications.

You will manage projects through the full development cycle, coordinate with manufacturing, sales, and quality teams, and lead agency testing and certifications. The role requires a strong foundation in thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and heat transfer, plus hands-on lab experience with instrumentation and DoE concepts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5 years design and project experience preferred.
• EPA 608 Refrigerant Certification - Universal is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to NPD projects and sustaining initiatives.
• Manage individual projects and the complete product development cycle.
• Design, optimize and qualify HVAC systems using advanced methods and experiments.
• Lead product qualification and agency compliance test programs.
• Conduct analytical studies using state-of-the-art simulation tools.
• Ensure design quality with robust calculations and proposals.
• Support manufacturing, sales, quality, service, and supply chain.
• Interface with vendors, customers, and field personnel.
• Deliver technical presentations for diverse audiences.
• Document designs with BOMs, drawings, and change notices.
• Interface with regulatory and test agencies.
