Job summary

RRC Solutions Group is seeking an HVAC Design Engineer to drive design, development, and maintenance of HVAC products across multiple platforms. You will contribute to both residential and commercial systems, collaborating with manufacturing and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities include leading qualification programs, conducting simulations and experiments, and interfacing with vendors and customers. A strong foundation in thermodynamics and fluid mechanics is essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5 years design & project experience preferred.
• Knowledge of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, heat transfer and heat exchanger design.
• Familiarity with HVAC system design and applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide measurable contribution to NPD projects and sustaining initiatives.
• Manage projects through the complete product development cycle.
• Design, optimize and qualify HVAC systems using analytical methods and experiments.
• Lead product qualification and agency compliance test programs.
• Interface with vendors, customers, and field personnel.
• Document product designs with BOMs, drawings, and change notifications.
