Job summary

Ashton North LLC seeks a Mechanical Engineer to design, optimize, and maintain HVAC products across multiple platforms, ensuring best-in-class performance and reliability. You will support manufacturing and collaborate with sales, quality, and supply chain teams to meet customer needs.

The role requires hands-on lab work, DOE concepts, and familiarity with system controls and instrumentation. A strong foundation in thermodynamics and heat transfer is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering with HVAC emphasis preferred.
• 5 years design & project experience preferred.
• EPA Section 608 Refrigerant Certification - Universal is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Contribute measurably to NPD projects and sustaining initiatives.
• Manage projects through the complete product development cycle.
• Design, optimize and qualify HVAC systems using analytical and experimental methods.
• Lead product qualification and agency test programs.
• Perform analytical studies using advanced simulation tools.
• Document product designs with BOMs, drawings, and change notifications.
• Interface with regulatory agencies, vendors, customers, and field personnel.
• Present technical and business updates to teams.
