Job summary

Management Performance Associates is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to design, develop and maintain HVAC products for residential and commercial applications. You will contribute to NPD projects, optimize systems and support manufacturing and testing activities across multiple platforms.

The role requires a BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering, 5 years of design experience, and hands-on proficiency with simulation tools and instrumentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, with HVAC focus.
• 5 years design and project experience preferred.
• Experience with state-of-the-art simulation tools and instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide measurable contribution to NPD projects and sustaining initiatives.
• Manage individual projects and special engineering requests throughout the complete product development cycle.
• Design, optimize and qualify HVAC systems employing advanced analytical methods and experimental techniques.
• Lead product qualification and agency compliance test programs.
• Conduct analytical studies employing state-of-the-art simulation tools.
• Ensure design quality, supporting your calculations and design proposals.
• Support manufacturing, sales & marketing, quality, technical services, and supply chain functions.
• Interface with vendors, customers, and field personnel.
• Conduct presentations for technical and business personnel.
• Document product designs by preparing bills of material, drawings, special customer requests, and product change notifications.
• Interface with regulatory agencies and test agencies.
