Job summary

Client Growth Resources, Inc. is seeking an experienced HVAC Design Engineer to drive design, development, and manufacturing support for residential and commercial HVAC products.

You will lead simulations, testing, and regulatory interfaces across multiple platforms while coordinating with cross-functional teams on NPD and sustaining initiatives. Ideal candidates hold a mechanical engineering degree with HVAC emphasis and at least five years of design/project experience.

Qualifications

• 5 years design & project experience preferred.
• Bachelors or Masters in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC emphasis preferred.
• EPA 608 Refrigerant Certification a plus.
• Experience with state-of-the-art simulation tools.
• Familiar with programming languages and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to NPD projects and sustaining initiatives.
• Manage projects through the full product development cycle.
• Design, optimize and qualify HVAC systems.
• Lead product qualification and agency tests.
• Conduct analytical studies using simulations.
• Ensure design quality with solid calculations.
• Support manufacturing, sales, quality, and supply chain.
• Interface with vendors, customers and field personnel.
• Present technical and business information.
• Document designs with BOMs, drawings, and change notifications.
• Interface with regulatory and test agencies.
