Job summary

Talent With Heart is seeking an HVAC design engineer to design, develop, and maintain residential and commercial HVAC products, aiming for best-in-class performance and reliability across platforms. You will support manufacturing and cross-functional teams throughout the product lifecycle.

The role requires a strong background in mechanical engineering, HVAC system design, and thermodynamics, with hands-on lab experience and DFSS/DFMA familiarity.

Qualifications

• 5 years design & project experience preferred.
• EPA Section 608 Refrigerant Certification - Universal is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, optimize and qualify HVAC systems using advanced analytical methods and simulation tools.
• Lead product qualification and agency compliance test programs.
• Conduct analytical studies employing state-of-the-art simulation tools.
• Ensure design quality, supporting your calculations and design proposals.
• Document product designs by preparing bills of material, drawings, special customer requests, and product change notifications.
• Interface with regulatory agencies and test agencies.
• Interface with vendors, customers, and field personnel.
• Conduct presentations for technical and business personnel.
• Support manufacturing, sales & marketing, quality, technical services, and supply chain functions.
