Job summary

6 Degrees Search is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to design, develop and maintain HVAC products across multiple platforms, delivering best-in-class performance and reliability.

You will lead NPD and sustaining initiatives, coordinate with manufacturing, quality, and sales, and document designs with BOMs and drawings while interfacing with regulators and suppliers to ensure compliance and timely execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5 years design & project experience preferred.
• Experience with state-of-the-art simulation tools.
• Familiar with computer programming languages.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office suite products.

Responsibilities

• Design, optimize and qualify HVAC systems employing advanced analytical methods and experimental techniques.
• Lead product qualification and agency compliance test programs.
• Interface with vendors, customers, and field personnel.
• Document product designs by preparing bills of material, drawings, special customer requests, and product change notifications.
• Interface with regulatory agencies and test agencies.
• Conduct presentations for technical and business personnel.
