Job summary

Bechtel is seeking a Subcontract Technical Representative (STR) to oversee HVAC and Process Ductwork subcontracts on the Cardinal project in New Albany, OH. The STR will ensure safe, on-schedule execution in line with project specs and quality standards, interfacing with the HVAC subcontractor and Bechtel teams.

The role supports quality control, material take-offs, change coordination, and problem solving to help meet cost and schedule targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree requirement in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 5-8 years of relevant work experience for Level I; 9-12 years in lieu of degree.
• Level II requires 8-10 years; 12-14 years in lieu of degree.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary technical and field coordination liaison with subcontractors.
• Coordinate daily subcontractor activities, provide oversight, support inspections and testing.
• Interface with Procurement, Project Controls, Engineering and QA to resolve issues and align performance.
