Job summary

Bechtel is developing a 2.5 million-square-foot semiconductor manufacturing facility in New Albany, OH. In this role, you will conduct field investigations and client interviews to determine work scope and cost estimates for a project's mechanical aspects.

You will lead design, develop, modify, and evaluate mechanical components and processes. You will collaborate with procurement, construction, startup, ES&H, and project controls to align mechanical tasks with schedule and budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering is required.
• 8–10 years of relevant experience or 12–14 years of relevant work experience.
• Professional license (PE) preferred; strong communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Directs mechanical design and engineering activities for medium to large projects.
• Collaborates with procurement, construction, ES&H, and project controls as needed.
• Performs bid analyses and procurement recommendations for equipment, materials, and services.
• Ensures adherence to ASHRAE/SMACNA/IMC standards and QA plans; resolves field issues.
