Job summary

Johnson Barrow is seeking an Outside Sales Engineer to drive business growth in the Pacific Northwest, building strong relationships with engineers, contractors, and owners. You will apply HVAC product knowledge to identify opportunities, manage sales processes, and support projects from concept to commissioning.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of direct HVAC sales or design experience, a mechanical engineering background, and strong CRM and proposal-writing skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years in direct HVAC sales, marketing, or design for contractors or design engineers.
• 3+ years in business development and relationship management within HVAC.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain relationships with owners, engineers, contractors and end-users.
• Identify and develop opportunities with new and existing customers using HVAC knowledge.
• Drive annual sales growth and secure long-term opportunities in the Northwest.
• Provide technical design guidance, product selection, and specification writing.
