Carrier is seeking a Sales Application Engineer in Canton, MA to support complex Applied HVAC equipment selections and proposals. You will translate customer needs into optimized configurations, ensuring performance, budget alignment, and regulatory compliance.
In this role you will collaborate with sales, engineering, and operations to strengthen the value proposition, mentor junior staff, and contribute to training sessions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or engineering technology required.
- 5+ years in HVAC application engineering, applied equipment selection, or pre-sales technical support.
- 2+ years of people management or team leadership experience.
Responsibilities
- Develop, validate, and optimize Applied HVAC equipment selection based on project specifications.
- Ensure all quoting, sizing, and equipment specs meet customer requirements and standards.
- Identify cost-saving and technical improvements to sharpen competitive position.
- Stay informed on industry trends and emerging HVAC technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
- Prepare, review, and approve final technical submittals and proposals.
