Job summary

Service Experts Heating & AC-NY LLC is seeking an HVAC technician to diagnose, service, and maintain residential and light commercial systems. You will communicate with customers to resolve issues and promote service offerings, while working under supervision to ensure high customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with additional HVAC training and 0–2+ years of experience.
• EPA and safety certifications required.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and troubleshoot electrical, refrigerant, and duct systems.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic and service work on residential and light commercial HVAC equipment and accessories.
• Diagnoses and resolves customer problems in a courteous, professional, timely manner.
• Inspects equipment and performs diagnostics to prevent breakdowns or callbacks.
• Performs routine maintenance and equipment cleaning as needed.
• Delivers and removes parts and equipment for service work.
• Communicates with dispatch to provide status updates and availability.
• Promotes products and services and generates replacement sales leads.
• Maintains company vehicle, tools, and paperwork in good order.
