Job summary

Service Experts Heating & Air Conditioning is seeking a skilled HVAC technician to perform diagnostic and service work on residential and light commercial systems. Under supervision, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain heating, cooling, ventilation, and related equipment while ensuring customer satisfaction and professional service.

You will communicate with customers, follow safety protocols, and collaborate with the Field Supervisor or General Manager.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with HVAC training and 0-2+ years' experience.
• Must hold valid licensing/certifications as required by local laws.
• EPA and safety certifications required.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and troubleshoot electrical, refrigerant and duct systems on HVAC equipment.
• Proficient mechanical aptitude and ability to operate all necessary tools and equipment.
• Proficient at installing basic duct fittings and balancing airflow.

Responsibilities

• Perform residential and/or light commercial service and maintenance calls.
• Diagnose and resolve customer problems in a courteous, professional manner.
• Inspect equipment and perform diagnostics to prevent breakdowns or callbacks.
• Deliver and remove parts and equipment needed to complete service work.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate status with dispatch.
• Promote products and services and generate replacement sales leads.
