Job summary

Willard Heating and Cooling is seeking an Assistant Service Manager to oversee a Rockstar Team, manage service technicians and the fleet department, and mentor staff for top performance. Strong background in customer relations, warranty and billing claims, and sales is required, with hands-on experience and problem-solving skills.

You will lead weekly training, manage field callbacks, review jobsite data, and ensure safety and compliance while maintaining high customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of proven experience in a management role.
• 2+ years of sales experience.
• Ability to properly train and diagnose equipment.
• Great attitude, high energy, strong communication, sales-driven.
• Strong computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Weekly training with your team.
• Run callbacks with team for in-field solutions.
• Be available for your team during working hours or after.
• Document jobsite analysis per job.
• Conduct unscheduled jobsite inspections.
• Handle overflow service calls as needed.
• Ensure vehicle care and stock for the team.
• Perform quarterly performance reviews.
• Renew licenses and certificates for technicians.
• Utilize software programs effectively and efficiently.
• Prepare quotations for recommended work.
• Communicate updates to customers and managers.
• Set and meet performance goals.
• Enforce safety protocols and focus on customer satisfaction.
• Occasionally work after hours, weekends, or holidays.
