Job summary

Willard Heating and Cooling in Forney, TX is seeking an Assistant Service Manager to oversee daily operations of the service team and fleet. You’ll mentor technicians, manage customer relations, warranty and billing claims, and help grow the department with a hands-on leadership style.

The role requires hands-on experience, excellent problem-solving, and the ability to balance field work with administrative duties.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of proven experience in a management role.
• 2+ years of sales experience.
• Strong organizational leadership skills to lead and grow a team of technicians.
• Great attitude, high energy, great communication, and sales driven personality.
• Strong computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily service operations and fleet management.
• Train and mentor technicians and staff.
• Manage customer relations, warranties and billing claims.
• Prepare quotations for recommended work and communicate updates to customers and managers.
• Ensure safety protocols and quality service delivery.
• Be available for the team after hours, weekends, or holidays as needed.
