Beacon Plumbing is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Manager to lead and grow our HVAC service operation in the Seattle area. You will oversee daily service activities, coach technicians, and drive performance through KPI management.

A hands‑on leader with strong recruiting and customer‑focused mindset is essential. You will recruit and retain top HVAC talent, set clear expectations, and collaborate with dispatch, sales, and leadership to optimize scheduling and customer satisfaction.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of residential HVAC experience with leadership or management experience.
• Proven experience leading HVAC service technicians or a residential HVAC service department.
• Strong understanding of residential HVAC systems, service practices, and industry standards.

Aufgaben

• Lead the day-to-day operations of the HVAC service department.
• Lead, coach, and develop HVAC technicians and apprentices.
• Build a high-performing service team focused on quality, productivity, customer satisfaction, and growth.
• Recruit, interview, hire, onboard, and retain top HVAC talent.
• Establish clear expectations and hold team members accountable for performance, safety, quality, and customer service.
• Monitor key performance indicators including revenue, close rate, average ticket, productivity, callbacks, and customer satisfaction.
• Analyze department performance and implement strategies to improve efficiency, profitability, and technician performance.
• Conduct regular ride-alongs, field coaching, one-on-one meetings, and team meetings.
• Provide leadership and technical support to technicians when challenging service calls or customer situations arise.
• Partner with dispatch, customer service, sales, installation, and leadership to maximize scheduling efficiency and customer experience.
• Champion a strong service and sales culture focused on finding right solutions for customers.
• Handle escalated customer concerns and ensure issues are resolved professionally.
• Ensure all work adheres to standards, Washington requirements, and best practices.
• Oversee department resources including vehicles, tools, inventory, and other needs.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, training, retention, and performance.
• Help develop strategies to support HVAC growth across Seattle and Puget Sound.
